Dan Corbeil

With over two decades in the field, Dan Corbeil is a seasoned recruiter who has fostered a deep connection to Japan, its culture and its people. In his recruitment career, Dan's significant achievements include successfully introducing several Partners, Managing Directors, Country Managers all the way to Senior Consultants. With a focus on Consulting and IT, Dan consistently goes the extra mile to assist both clients and candidates. For instance, he recently placed a Director at a major Consulting firm who quickly rose to become a Partner and Dan has been instrumental in helping him to build and strengthen the practice ever since.

Dan's passion for Japan has taken him on several extended trips from Wakkanai all the way down to Okinawa which has given him a profound understanding of the rich and diverse culture and customs. Yet besides the Japanese market, Dan has travelled and completed deals in Hong Kong as well as the broader APAC region. His aspiration is to continue to facilitate successful matches that allow clients to over achieve their goals and enable candidates to follow their short and long-term career ambitions.

Born in Canada and having lived in various countries including the US, Hong Kong and Indonesia, Dan communicates fluently in French, English and Japanese. Beyond his professional life, Dan is an avid surfer, a passionate traveler and an enthusiast of onsens (hot springs).
