Marc-Andre Bergevin

Marc-Andre started recruiting in Tokyo in 2001 for one of the most prominent and fastest growing IT recruiting firms where he learned the dynamic of the Japan IT market as well as the recruiting methodologies. Later he moved to one of the top and most established recruiting firm in Japan where he quickly became a top producer, best team leader, and finally Shikko Yakuin or Executive Managing Officer. Marc-Andre hired, trained, and led the highest performing teams across the IT, management consulting, insurance, financial services, and legal industries and was consistently among the top performing search consultant who has successfully carried out placements for senior-level positions such as Partner, CFO, Managing Director, and Country Manager etc. Marc-Andre moved to Singapore in 2011 to expand the scope of his recruiting experience across all Asian Countries. Prior to moving into executive recruitment, he was a director (youngest director in the firms’ history) and trader in Desjardins Capital Markets, and DS trading in institutional fixed income, corporate, convertible, and municipal debentures. He studied Financial Analysis at the University of Quebec in Montreal, options & derivatives courses from the Canadian Securities Institute as well as Financial Risk Management from the educational arm of the Montreal Stock Exchange


Yojiro Konuma

Kimiko Nakano

Kimiko Nakano brings a wealth of experience in recruiting and career consulting to EXEC-SEARCH PARTNERS beginning in 2005 with one of the oldest and most established recruiting firms in Japan. Over the course of her career she has worked with clients and professionals across a plethora of industries with specialty in the IT, consumer, strategy consulting and finance area. Working in a variety of roles from researcher to Senior Consultant Kimiko has successfully completed several junior, mid and high-ranking placements including CFO, Marketing Director and Sales Director both here in Japan and abroad. Always a team player she has been responsible for training staff in recruiting techniques and procedures. Having spent time studying and living abroad, Kimiko possesses and unique blend and understanding of both Japanese and Western culture. She takes great pleasure in bringing a friendly attitude to her job and improving the careers of those she meets.


Dan Corbeil

Dan has been in Asia for over 20 years and has been doing recruiting in Tokyo and APAC since 2000. Born in Canada and lived in Japan, Hong Kong and the US, he traveled extensively in Asia and everywhere in Japan except for 2 prefectures, where he was able to meet, speak and get in the heart of their society. Dan understands what Japanese people want, don’t want, the way they do business, and the way they think. Dan is responsible for remote recruiting, research, new client acquisition, business development, as well as mid-career and leadership level searches. He thrives for success and is passionate to help find the right people and shape worldwide major corporations in order for them to achieve their growth plans, as well as find appropriate opportunities for candidates to fully use their potential and skill up their career. Kentaro Tamai

Kentaro started his career in a leading human resource services company, Intelligence, Ltd., and he was in charge of sales for corporate recruiting ads. He proposed recruiting methods and worked as a market analyst for small-and-medium-sized to large listed companies. Even amidst an economic downturn after the Lehman Shock of 2008, he achieved an outstanding result by maintaining & developing client relations. At 25 years old, he entered an American graduate school (Middlebury Institute of International Studies) in California to acquire an international business sense as well as deep insights and knowledge. He studied International Marketing in the Business School. After graduating from the Business School in 2014, Kentaro participated in managing a multi-language and communication consulting company, Amic International Inc. as a director. His duties consisted of business strategy, management planning, marketing, recruiting, and other general company tasks. Kentaro is personally interested in the globalization of Japanese individuals and corporates and enthusiastically engages in international activities. Following his work as a business manager, Kentaro moved to Singapore as an executive recruiter, wishing to contribute his expertise to globalizing Japanese enterprises. From his experiences as a manager and his career change, Kentaro has a wealth of knowledge of both B to C and B to B businesses. He has received critical acclaim from both candidates and clients and also supports the recruitment of middle to executive level new talent. Kentaro loves sports and during his free time he enjoys playing basketball, soccer, jogging, and triathlon.


Andrew MacKinlay

Andrew MacKinlay has been an Executive Search Consultant helping international firms to succeed here in the Japanese market since 2005. Specialized primarily in the insurance industry - he has run teams focused on Life, P&C and Reinsurance as well as servicing Retail & Reinsurance Brokerages and Actuarial Consulting Firms. With solid recruiting methodologies, he has a proven ability to execute retained, exclusive or contingent searches continuously and with a very high-level of success. As well as having placed CEO, CFO, CMO, Managing Directors and other Executive Officer level candidates within the insurance industry throughout Japan and Asia for over 12 years, he has also built teams to recruit in various other sectors including IT, legal, management consulting, asset management and multi-media. After graduating in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, he worked as an IT project manager in London for a few years before travelling around Asia visiting China, Tibet, India & Nepal before finally settling in Tokyo. A fun-loving father of three, you can usually find him playing with his kids in the park at the weekends if not on the golf course or playing guitar on stage.
